Graphic Designer

We are currently hiring a Graphic Designer to join our team and create engaging and impactful designs for WalkTalk radio.

Responsibilities

• · Taking design briefs to understand requirements
• · Conceptualizing and developing design concepts, graphics and layouts
• · Designing and producing collateral in accordance with brand guidelines
• · Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders and incorporating their feedback into the final design
• · You have prior experience as a Graphic Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects – preferred experience – 3 years
• · You possess a good knowledge of design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop
• · You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
• · You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
• · You are a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders

Radio Jockey:

As our Radio Jockey, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead conversations with a diverse range of individuals, from thought leaders to everyday heroes. Your engaging presence and exceptional interviewing skills will play a pivotal role in bringing out the heart of each story.

Responsibilities:

• – Conduct engaging interviews that captivate our listeners and leave a lasting impact.
• – Research and prepare insightful questions to delve into the depths of each guest’s journey.
• – Create an atmosphere where interviewees feel comfortable sharing their stories authentically.
• – Collaborate with our production team to ensure high-quality content delivery.
• – Find engaging content from around the city and cover the stories.

Qualifications:

• – A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication or a related field.
• – Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain engaging conversations.
• – Passion for storytelling and a genuine curiosity to explore diverse topics.
• – Previous hosting or interviewing experience is a plus.

Video Editor:

• Edit raw footage into polished videos ensuring smooth transitions, and proper pacing.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, target audience, and style preferences.
• Review and organize raw footage to identify each video’s best shots and sequence.
• Trim, crop, and enhance video clips to optimize quality using appropriate color correction, audio adjustments, and visual effects.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the overall video production.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and manage video editing tasks simultaneously.
• Provide constructive feedback and creative input during team brainstorming sessions to enhance video concepts and storytelling.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new editing techniques, and software advancements related to Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator.
